my teacher told me once, i was better in doing practical than the written one. (practical as in science classwork/test). guess, thats one of the signs of laziness.. wohoho. sbabnya, practical bleh mngantam.. nd pyah baca pn klw nasib bisai, bisai taya..
but i never thought she was right. not even now. no no. i wasnt good in practical. nervousness and panic always took the best of me.. if i were to tell what im better at, between the two.. id say, im very good at both. AHAHA. nda bh, id very much prefer the written one. klw rjin revision, very ok lah
and she said.. (this is what i alwaysss remember) " practical is like cooking. you follow the ingredients and the instructions given. if you follow them right then you get the right taste. the right form of food. the correct result..." and... i believed her :)
(that was then, i believed her. now, i agree with her. except.. err.. when we know how to alter the recipe a bit here and there, we might produce a greater taste. kn? antam. hiii)

no rewinds~
i read my previous post rh laptop and its so pnjang and boring (unless ure interested in one tiny bit of what i was talking abt. crappy books, crappy book-snake-snail) haa! my sister called me book snake the other day (emm book snake, as in book-worm. ha ha- ular buku. nice what?) never was i entitled as ulat buku before.. i mean... aku??? hahaha. id laugh at the thought of it. not that im eligible fr the title yet (YET) thou!
the thing bout blogging via handphone is... it looks small and readable. tapi arh lappy ku ani bida tia. pnjang. boring and -but-so-what?
emmm.. jgn th dbaca cecilia's ;where rainbow ends. uh uh. ok lah.. best friends of opposite sex, have sub-conscious feelings fr each other, secretly in love, never the right time, until... they could be together.. finally.. when theyre old. old. old. it is sad. and touching. but the whole story... ahh.. panjang! like 400 pages kali and centre of the story? atu nganya. heh not worth reading, life is too short. worse, ia writing as a 4th person. hahaha. i mean.. ia bcerita as email wh or surat or IM.. and other than that as a narrator. sasakku. nah book snake!
ooooh i love my oct 11th. that was my cake-iest day ever. i had loads of cake. and i love them all. i love the fact that i baked my own cake jua. haha. my first cake ever. and fr that, i feel like its a special something. boo =p. i thought of many things to write bout oct 11th.. but.. it seemed gone cos i have something too many in mind. but but.. thanks everyone fr everything!! love love love you all.
BTW its not "selamat hari jadi" ..id make it invalid (JK JK).. cos as it is known, i was was was "jadi" on oct 11th minus MINUS 9 months.. hahaha. i suppose.. its.. selamat hari lahir babe.. wink
and bout migraine. oh its a bunchy bunchy of info. thanks wani kahar... hihi (mna siok kali ah mngoogle/browsing sndiri dari buku. its far more fun and memorable if someone else yg bgitaukn. haha)
bonus Q: why why why background/blogskin ku itam itam itam sja fr this one year-almost? its the same lame one.
a) ooouu i dont know how to change blogskin :(
b) black is beautiful. im just in love with its simplicity
c) ehh sentimental value. il change it like once a yr
d) im such a lazy lazy lazy snail
e) couldnt -- havent find one that really really catches my eyes, my heart
so, i chose/forced to stay. stick with the way it was, from day 1.

one~ twenty one guns~
sometimes i wish there would be one time id frget oct 11th is my birthday.. Heh, just wanna know how it would be like.. (tpi adakn bnr tu urg lupa birthdaynyaaa??)
ive read twenties girl! Funny hw i thought i wouldnt find in cairo yet soon when i come back. Almost buy the bnd 40 version, nasib abis stock. (actually, im willing to buyyy). Then, sni it costs about 30 plus bnd lah.. Sma jua. Mcm siuk jua pisin twenties ani ah? Haha. Thought it was abt bni2 umur 20-an. Bt it is both about age 20an and yr 20an. Hehe. Beli beli beli. Sila sila
Kinsella always present a fun, free spirited books (to me lh), i think heroinnya mcm sama characternya.. Not exactly, tpi kaann sma. And booksnya ada same pattern or storyline, like i said before. Bt its good to have a signature in one's writing. Hoo stayi aku ah. I like hers. Fun, moving, funny, young and brilliantly creative, absolutely addicitve. Cewah. Wlwpun often awal2 page atu a bit slow storynya and typical,(tpi dmaafkn, fr her being so funny and fun.hehe), bt towards the end kdang2nya unexpected case. (i often wonder,cana ia bleh ada idea cani ni, so tv-like ; in a good way of course) .I like the way ia bgi case and creative solution. Plus 88 percent nada barney-mugging element.haha
i read cecilia's too. Id characterized her books as young, fun, funny and fairy tale. Siuk jua, cali and makes some people dreamy2 kali (apakn? :p). Young people will love hers.
Also jane green's. I think ive seen her pic in one of the books, tpi ndaku sure ah. Wlwpn nd pnah mliat lh, id imagine her quite old. Her books kind of wise and bout life. Makes me think being old would be interesting! That it is nt a nightmare at all!Pattern is bout making choices in life,hw we want to lead it, and that its never too late. Im actually curious what it would be like being 30. Haha. There are advantages fr old writers, they simply can write bout being young and old, cz theyve been thru all ages. Hihi. Oh there was one time i read arh game, a character says (psal ia nda puas ati ia kna ucap kanak2 and nd kna suruh join adventure urg bsar) "then when would i be considered as a grown up??" ----- another character answers "when u realised u havent grown up at this age" hmmmmm pretty much makes sense to me.
Tpinya, this jane green, so far, i find it hard to stick and be addicted arh bukunya fr the first many pages, bt towards the end, they play with my curiosity very much. Yooo
Next, marian keyes. She's also fun and has her own unique style lh. Imaginative and creative. Id imagine she is in her 30s to 40s.ntah,ndaku mngoogle eh. heh. I always remember this line in one of her books, cmanilh sikit2 usulnya (nt exactly okeh) "there are always three sides of a story. Our side, their side and the truth" -by someone- i like the way she present things in that book that makes people think sides and angles of everything. And her line "face it jojo harvey, ure more than a little faboulous" hahaha, ntah napakh line atu yg ku ingat. Ive read only two of hers sja plg. Heh
who else? Nda byk writer's yg ku baca more than two pieces. Hmmm. Of course, khalid husseini (sp). He.. Antah, dont quite know hw to describe. Unique angles of life. Wise. Very literature-like. Touch hearts in unique and different ways. Very very non-typical. Thats why i love his pieces.
Next is my some top lists:
-kite runner. Khalid h (i love this one, its in my no.1 psalnya it wins me over other books in every way klw dikumpul2 reasonsnya. Hoho)
-remember me? Sophie k. Aku suuukaaa bnr ni
-ohhh twilight! Yes, i love twilight. Sapa writernya ni? Stephenie m? Malasku cek. Siuk siuk, i like
